Will Cooper is an Associate at Conrad & Metlitzky. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation. His experience spans cases involving contractual disputes, consumer class actions, patents, trade secrets, copyright, sovereign immunity, and alleged fraud against the government and private entities.

Will has litigated novel legal issues for clients ranging from individuals to major tech companies and financial institutions such as Ericsson and Deutsche Bank. He has done so in arbitral tribunals, state trial and appellate courts, and every level of the federal court system. Will has co-authored merits briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court, drafted winning briefs in multiple courts of appeal, and secured favorable outcomes in a variety of trial courts. He has also maintained an active pro bono practice, including briefing and oral argument in a case where the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit unanimously reinstated his client’s civil-rights suit.

Before joining Conrad & Metlitzky, Will worked at MoloLamken LLP, a leading litigation boutique in Washington, D.C. Previously, Will was a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen A. Higginson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and to the Honorable Christina A. Snyder on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Will graduated from Stanford Law School, where he served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Environmental Law Journal and worked on multiple winning case teams in the Environmental Law Clinic. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Washington & Lee University. Will lives in Oakland with his wife.
